dac® Cool Gut is designed to support gastric health in horses who are exposed to the normal stress associated with exercise and training. The targeted ingredients in this formula include l-glutamine, an amino acid that is essential to the growth and function of your horse’s stomach lining, and calcium carbonate, which helps maintain proper gut pH and proper gut flora. In addition, this formula provides fructooligosaccharides (FOS) and mannanoligosaccharides (MOS), which are prebiotics that support the beneficial bacteria in your horse’s hindgut. Finally, it contains glycine and whey protein concentrate, which both support a healthy stomach lining.
